A D-II Deep Dive, New GM Contracts, and Dozens of Shoe Deals
The free Extra Points newsletter, sharing news and insights from the leading contract directory for college sports.

Good morning, and thanks for spending part of your day with The Library Card. I’m excited to share a look at new documents and developments from Extra Points Library.
We’re adding a couple hundred docs to the database between each issue of The Library Card and now have over 6,300 total documents. Our team continues to file dozens of open records requests each week for financial records, coaching and administrative contracts, vendor agreements, and more. If there’s a specific document or dataset that you would find helpful, send a message to [email protected], and we’ll do our best to track it down.
Inside the Library: a look into our D-II Contracts
Our database now includes more than 430 documents from Division II athletics. Today, we want to offer a look at what those documents entail. Here’s a quick breakdown of what we have to share from D-II.
Financial Reports: 201
Coach Contracts: 149
Vendor Contracts: 68
Athletic Director Contracts: 11
So, if you want to understand revenue and expenses for schools in the RMAC, see how UNK structures contracts for its coaching staffs, or compare licensing deals across schools, Library is here to help.
As always, if we help you access a specific document, send us a message at [email protected].
Get a FREE Financial Ranking Report for your conference
Following the launch of our latest update to Library – allowing you to compare financial information by school, conference, and year faster than ever before – we decided to make a few conference reports of our own.
Using FY24 FRS Data, these reports all the league schools in metrics like ticket sales and media rights revenue, recruiting expenses, operating expenses, and operating revenues.
We currently have free reports ready for the Big Ten, SEC, Mountain West, MAC, Horizon League and Summit League. If you'd like a copy, let me know at [email protected], and we’ll send the report.

New to Library: more GM contracts, dozens of D-I docs, and shoe deals
We’re now up to 16 General Manager contracts from schools across the country, including Alabama, Houston, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan State, Purdue, West Virginia and more.
These GMs may hold the same title, but operationally, they have very different roles. Salaries range from low six figures to nearly a million dollars, and responsibilities differ widely across the board.
ICYMI: Matt Brown broke down the ins and outs of early GM contracts a couple of weeks ago.
100+ New D-I documents have been added to our database since the last edition of the Library Card. You can find dozens of new FRS reports, Coach contracts, Vendor and apparel deals, and more.
30 shoe deals have been added to Library.
We’ve been tracking down athletic apparel deals the last few weeks and our users can now access 30+ new athletic department agreements with BSN, Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour. We also have secondary athletic equipment contracts in the Library, from companies like Speedo and Wilson. And we’re adding more every week.
