Conference Realignment Contracts, D-II Data, and Taking Stock of Ticketing Deals

The FOIA-Mobile is moving at ludicrous speed, searching for documents from Deloitte's NIL clearinghouse, EA Sports College Football 26, and more.

Good morning, and thanks for spending part of your day with The Library Card.

Quick update: this is Matt Brown, the founder and EIC of the Extra Points newsletter. We’ve loved having Sam, but he has left the Extra Points family for a new opportunity at a different company. We wish him all the best!

The rest of us here at Extra Points have finally all recovered from a very productive and exciting time at NACDA. It was great catching up with so many familiar faces and new connections, as we work to make the best possible Extra Points Library we can.

As always, if there’s a specific document or dataset that we can help you find, send a message to [email protected], and we’ll do our best to track it down.

On the Hunt: We’re searching for NIL Go, College Football 26 documents

The FOIA machine is going brrrrrrrr as we send out dozens of requests to learn more about Delloite’s ‘NIL Go’, the NIL clearinghouse tied to the House vs. NCAA settlement. We’re also working to substantially increase our number of D-II documents, particularly in the coach and vendor contract space, as well as improve our depth of vendor deals in the ticketing partnership, international travel and multimedia rights spaces. These requests on top of our regular, weekly requests to make sure we have the most up-to-date coaching information we can secure.

You’ll see updates trickling into the Extra Points Library just about every day, but if you have questions or want to compare notes (or documents), drop us a line at [email protected]

Inside the Library: New! Conference Realignment Agreements.

If you’re interested in understanding conference admission agreement, revenue share impacts, member terms, and more, you can now find it all in Extra Points Library.

New to Library: Institutional Ticketing Contracts

After hearing that this is a major interest area from our existing EPL partners, we recently added Ticketing contracts between institutions and 3rd parties. These agreements include details on dynamic pricing, processing fees, vendor donations, and more.

These documents are key to understanding how schools and their ticketing partners interact.
